Main tasks

Legal/regulatory advice to management, national & international on general compliance issues as well as auditing of corresponding processes;

Planning, implementation, control and continuous improvement of strategic guidelines for general compliance as a framework for action;

Management and control of awareness/training measures on general compliance (e.g.handling of compliance notices), especially during onboarding of new management (including country managers)

Representation of the organization in cooperation with authorities;

Digitalization, improvement and optimization of processes and tools in the area of responsibility

Leading and developing assigned employees (m/f/d)

Profile

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in business or economics or law or related field of study with additional qualification in the area of compliance; several years of professional experience in the area of compliance in an internationally operating industrial company; medium-sized environment and/or group environment of a branded company (preferably production) in the FMCG segment – food and/or non-food ideal;

 

Relevant experience in dealing with compliance audits and internal investigations as well as in dealing with crisis situations; proven knowledge in the application and implementation of European compliance law (e. g.  EU Whistleblowing Directive, Whistleblower Protection Act) as well as basic knowledge of corresponding international compliance law; relevant experience with internal control and management systems (compliance in accordance with ISO 37301); relevant knowledge in dealing with authorities and in managing external legal counsel/service providers;

 

Leadership experience; relevant knowledge of MS 365 applications, including SharePoint, OneNote; good communicator(mfd) with confident command of English and German, strong verbal skills for target group and recipient-oriented communication; entrepreneurial thinking and acting; designer; change agent, diplomacy, and persuasiveness; commitment & implementation strengths;
